The Gallery is an ongoing series of exhibitions which both adapts and reacts to available resources, sites and collaborators to realize artist projects. Initially a gallery project located at the legendary restaurant Michael’s, embracing the history and atmosphere of the Santa Monica institution, The Gallery has expanded to new locations with a range of programming, elastic in permanence and style. The generic name of this project acknowledges a flexible and experimental approach of operating a gallery, with room for the project to grow and evolve locally and internationally.
